Initial stage – mold design

Our injection molding plant is equipped with the most sophisticated cutting-edge machines in the industry. We use a range of advanced and innovative methods to produce perfect products, at the highest level, and to the satisfaction of our customers. One of the initial and main stages in the production of injection molding products is the mold design, which is performed at our plant by mold and plastics engineers. These highly skilled professionals have extensive experience and translate the product idea into a production plan, a process which requires excellent understanding of the product’s uses and properties.

The designing process is based on defined stages, and  is implemented in full and close coordination with the customer. We first meet with the customer to examine the product design plans, the uses and properties, as well as the additional relevant planning requirements. We then draft the production plan, tailoring the product dimensions and structure to its properties, uses and design. The plan is then transferred to the production department that builds a prototype model which is examined, including improvements and corrections if needed.

Advance to mold production

After the mold design is completed, and the prototype meet the customer’s satisfaction, we proceed to producing the actual working mold which the customer will use in mass producing the product. In most cases the mold is made of metals which undergo thermal processes for hardening to the required degree of rigidity, ensuring it meets both quality and customer requirements. As noted, this mold is meticulously planned and has high durability even after numerous injections, of course taking into consideration the required mold lifespan. This mold must be designed and produced professionally and precisely so its remain untacked even after thousands of injections cycles and extensive pressure exerted on the mold. This can be achieved at an injection molding plant with experience and expertise in high quality production of plastic molds, thus avoiding problems and numerous costs entailed in repairing molds unsuited for the product engineering requirements or the customer’s requirements.
